Rubbish.

now, when i'm riding around, i can't help but have at least some of my attention focussed on seeing, hearing or smelling something orange. and its a strange delight when i find some. i never knew a pile of orange bin bags would make me so excited as to sing an improvised ditty on how much i love them.
i can't remember the words.

Orange?

i was out riding and came across this orange wall. i parked my bike up to take a photo but then had to question the wall's orangeness. its odd how much two colours that you would consider to be slightly different tones of the same hue when you see them seperately vary quite so drastically when you view them together.

Broken Frame

so while i was out riding i came to a field, and didn't want to go back the way i came, so decided to walk on through it. when i saw the tree stump, cut at perfect seat height, i thought it a good idea to sit down and have a little rest. i parked my bike up and what did i see? a chunk of my frame just sat there on the floor. how does that even happen?
but then i notice its really just a bit of plastic orange piping and allow myself a sigh of relief and a small chuckle at my own gullibility.

Orange Giraffes and Security Guards

it was a very kindly security guard who i have to thank for this photo.
having set up the tripod and sorted the focus, shutter speed and aperture, i was just about to load the darkslide into the camera when said security guard walked over and told me i needed permission to photograph in the area. he asked how long i would be, and when i told him i'd only be a couple of minutes he just said that he was sure he'd never seen me, and walked away. thank you, security guard.

Park Swings

orange metal tubing seemed particularly approriate to the orange frame of my bike, so i parked it up and took a photo.

B&Q Orange

B&Q were offering free use of their orange and white outdoor studio backdrop (wall), and so i parked my bike up and took a photo.
